"I taught four workshops at Enchanted Cottage in Lewisville, North Carolina - and could tell by

the look of the building that the store was pretty big. But, without question, this store is the

biggest stamp and scrapbook store I have ever been in and is *packed* with every product

imaginable! I have been in hundreds of stores and this one was HUGE!

There were beautiful samples everywhere you turned, with plenty of ideas to delight paper crafters

of all kind! Marilyn, the owner, helped customers throughout the day and then took classes with

me later that night - and she was busy, busy, busy! Monica, Emma and Cooper dropped in to help

switch out materials between the 4 classes, but were lucky enough to meet up with Monica's Aunt

Luann and Uncle Marty who live in North Carolina, so they spent part of the day exploring Lewisville

The Beginning
The roller mill (where our store is located) was in operation from 1910 - 1983, when it became a hardware store. November 19, 1993, The Enchanted Cottage, known as "Lewisville's Unique Boutique" started as a monogram/gift shop in the small cottage next door to the roller mill. Marilyn Johnson, the owner, added a selection of stamps in the cottage. She soon realized that rubber stamps were much sought-after, and enlarged the space gradually until she expanded into the roller mill next door in 1994. The cottage is open off and on and is still part of the shopping experience. Cindy Owens has been part of The Enchanted Cottage since it opened and Marilyn knows she could never have been as sucessful without her!

Inside the Enchanted Cottage
The Enchanted Cottage, in the rustic roller mill, has rubber stamps, scrapbooks, papers, stickers, ribbons, charms, brass stencils, tools and all the supplies you'll need, along with a classroom where a variety of classes in stamping and scrapbooking are offered weekly. Classes are taught by the talented employees of Enchanted Cottage and by visiting teachers.

We offer beautiful handmade gift certificates. These can be made for any amount over $10.00 and make wonderful gifts. Additionally, we have a wish list available, similar to a gift registry, which we can give to your family and friends if they are searching for a gift for you.

Because we carry so many stamps (over 35,000) from so many different companies, we don't have a catalog of our own. If you see stamps that you like in a stamping magazine or catalog, e-mail to tell us what you want and we will see if we have it or can get it for you.. If so, we can mail the order to you right away, or get it for you, if it's not in stock. We can ship any of our other supplies, stencils, 3-D diecuts, scrapbook supplies, etc. We look forward to hearing from you!

Enchanted Cottage started as a monogram/gift shop in the small cottage next door (pictured at left). Then added a selection of stamps. It was soon realized that rubber stamps were much sought-after by stamping enthusiasts, We enlarged the stamp space gradually until we moved all the stamps, etc. into the roller mill next door in 1994. The Cottage was still part of the shopping experience as a gift shop for a long time. Sometime it was just called "The Enchanted Christmas Cottage"

The Enchanted Cottage, in the charming former roller mill with more than 6,000 square feet, has rubber stamps, scrapbooks, brass stencils, and all the supplies you'll need, along with a classroom where a variety of classes in stamping and scrapbooking are offered weekly. Classes are taught by the talented employees of Enchanted Cottage and by visiting teachers.

The Roller Mill was in operation from 1910 until 1983, when it became a hardware store. In 1994, the Enchanted Cottage moved in with its thousands of rubber stamps and inks, papers, tools and other craft supplies.
